Dr. Jackson then accepted a research fellowship at the world-famous Cavendish Laboratory in the University of Cambridge working with Professor John Field, on impact and friction of diamond and related materials before becoming a lecturer in engineering at the University of Liverpool. At Liverpool, Dr. Jackson established research in the field of micromachining and nanomachining and attracted research contracts in excess of $10 million.

Dr Xinggang Yan received his BSc degree from Shaanxi Normal University, in 1985, MSc degree from Qufu Normal University in 1991, and PhD degree in Control Engineering from Northeastern University, P. R. China in 1997. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in the University of Kent, United Kindom. He worked as a Research Fellow/Research Associate in the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, China and Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. He was awarded as outstanding Chief-Editor of the Journal of Electronics & Information Systems by Bilingual Publishing Co in 2022. He received the Best Application Paper Award of ASian Control Conference (ASCC) in Fukuoka, Japan in 2019. He serves as the member of the Editorial Board of several engineering journals including IET Control Theory & Applications, Journal of the Franklin Institute, Complexity, Energies and Mathematics Problems in Engineering etc. and a member of TPC for a number of international conferences. His research interests include sliding mode control, decentralised control, fault detection and isolation, and time delay system with applications. He has published three books, six invited book chapters and over 200 referred papers in these areas.

Dr. Chenglong Tang is a Professor in the School of Energy and Power Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University. He joint Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2011 after he received his ph D degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics in the same year. He has been working as a research collaborator in Princeton University from 2009 to 2011. His research interests include spray and mixture formation, combustion chemistry, new concept propulsion and reactive flows in internal-, aero-, and rocket- engines.

She has been researcher for SAIA- NS'P (The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic- National Stipendium Program) as Research grantee and appointed Erasmus Lecturer at Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Department of Theoretical Physics and Physics Education- KTFDF. She has been Assistant Professor at Sapienza University of Rome and is Professor at Sapienza University of Rome. She is wasVisiting Professor at Kursk State University, Chair of Algebra, Geometry and Didactics of Mathematics Theory within the Programme Education in Russia for Foreign Nationals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in 2022-2023. She has contributed in national conferences and international conferences. She is member of several Research Consortia. He received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Labs. Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”).

Professor Dr. Luisa Maria Arvide Cambra, Spanish is now Professor with Chair at the University of Almería (Spain) and she was Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Granada from 1979 on. Forty four years of the teaching and researching experience. Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. His research interests connect mathematics with computer science and include computer vision, artificial intelligence, shape representation, curve interpolation, contour reconstruction and geometric modeling, numerical methods, probabilistic methods, game theory, operational research and discrete mathematics.

Full Professor Jerzy Kisilowski, PhD. DSc. Eng. Full professor at the Faculty of Transport of the Warsaw University of Technology until 2011, and then professor at the Faculty of Transport and Electrotechnics of the Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom until 2022. Head of doctoral studies (to 2021). He has promoted 30 PhD students. Author of 350 scientific publications in Polish, English, German and Russian, including 28 scientific and design studies. His scientific interests include dynamics of mechanical systems in transportation, theory of stochastic processes, theory of sensitivity, problems of diagnostics and reliability of mechanical and electronic systems. He was a member of the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences. During his work at the university he actively participated in economic life for 30 years holding managerial positions in public administration and managing medium and large economic entities.
